Biography
  • Joined Ashland University in 2001.
  • Teaches courses in organic chemistry, general chemistry, and chemistry for non-science majors.
  • Conducts research with undergraduate students that investigates the synthesis and characterization of polymers that have potential for use in biomedical and materials applications.
  • Recipient of the 2011-2012 AU Taylor Excellence in Teaching Award.
  • Recipient of an AU academic mentor award in 2013-2014 and 2021-2022.
